Labor Day 2014 was quite a success for the Sea Dogs.

In what was the first tournament action for 2014 Sea Dogs, all four teams showed off their outstanding abilities.

The 8Us got their feet wet in their first two tournament games ever. The first one is the hardest one. The boys are far too young to understand this – but their growth and improvement will jump by leaps and bounds in a short amount of time with a little more experience. It was great to see them running around in their uniforms.

The 9Us have put a good string together – with great pitching and solid hitting and defense – to complete pool play with a 3-0 record and the #1 seed in their semi-finals, ultimately leading to the Championship Trophy!

The 10Us were clutch, including a thrilling come-from-behind win in walk-off fashion, to complete pool play with a 3-0 record and the #1 seed in their semi-finals.

The 11Us faced stiff competition and showed some serious resilience – including sending 14 batters to the plate in the 1st inning and 13 in the 2nd – to complete pool play with a 2-1 record and a #4 seed in the semi-finals, ultimately losing to the championship team in the semi-finals.

WITHOUT A DOUBT, every single player has contributed to their teams….and that is what this is all about!
